This series of three building, set a top the most prominent bluff on campus, was designed to become the heart of the corporate campus. Beginning with the master planning phase, positioning of the buildings and landscape were aligned to distant views of Mt. Diablo and San Francisco Bay. The first of three buildings was constructed laid the framework for the site with a large central green which doubles as a tent site for events and activities and includes the central walkway and overlook aligning to distant Mt. Diablo. Storm water runoff for the entire site is treated through meandering bio-swales which cascade over a series of stone weirs before settling in a rain garden planted with native vegetation. Strong patterns of coastal planting reinforce the architecture and patterns of the hardscape. The third and final building followed by adding a wind protected outdoor terrace overlooking the bay. Each building was designed and constructed separately over an eight year period with the culmination being Building 31 which completed the vision with its large circular entry plaza completed in 2011. Creo's principal was responsible for project management & design through construction administration while at MPA Design.
